Autor

Dameon K. Wroe is a distinguished author who first began his professional writing career back in the early 90's when he first broke into the entertainment industry and landed a record deal with Capitol Records. During the time he and his R&B group were recording their first album, he also landed several acting gigs as a principal performer in various sitcoms and commercials, where he worked alongside some of Hollywood's top entertainers. With the business knowledge and experience he gained while in the music business, Dameon took his love and fascination with poetry to the next level when he wrote his first book, "True Inspirations - A Poetry Collection, Vol. I," in May of 2000 and set out to prove to the world that he is a force to be reckoned with in the literary arena. After falling deeper in love with his writing and his acceptance of living his life in the public eye, Dameon wrote his second book, "No Longer Silent - By Way of Poetry," in 2011 and showed no signs of slowing down on his journey of making a name for himself as a well-respected author. As his experience continued to take shape, he made an intentional decision to step out on faith to turn away from the poetry genre and prove his ability to diversify his writing style by hitting the bullseye with his third book, "Modern Day Mentor." This book was an impressive, realistic depiction of personal growth, leadership and understanding the importance of mentoring those in our society who don't have positive role models in their lives to steer them in a healthy and rewarding direction. When the book was published in May of 2019, copies of the title sold for $100.00 per copy at the official launch party hosted by his publishing company. On May 30, 2019 Dameon was featured in an interview on the Up2meRadio.com [OMG - Oh Maura Gale Radio Show] with his long-time friend and fellow author Maura Gale to talk about the book, "Modern Day Mentor." Maura Gale is a veteran actress who has a recurring role on the Bounce TV Network show "Saints & Sinners." She also has a recurring role as Judge Ruth Matthews on the TV show, "Dynasty on The CW." Shortly after appearing on the OMG - Oh Maura Gale Radio Show, Dameon appeared in another interview on the YouTube channel 1stWroe with his younger brother, as they passionately discussed the Intersations topic: Manifesting Your Dreams. Still to date, "Modern Day Mentor" has made a positive impact on lives all throughout the United States, and can be found online at: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart and Target.
