Early in his life, Hunt learned how to acquire an angelic guide and protector, an unseen presence that not only provided protection but bestowed wisdom and knowledge as well. Later, as an adult, he learned how to heal himself and others. He learned, further, how to mind travel into the past, the future, or a time in the present. Along the way, he learned how to develop his psychic abilities--clairvoyance, and clairaudience. In his book, "The You in You: Unveiling the You that's Hidden from View," Hunt revealed the extent of his mental and spiritual prowess, sharing with his readers how they, too, could achieve what he had achieved. Although he didn't know it at the time, Hunt began writing his story at an early age, and, in some respects, the reader's story as well. After a four-year stint in the U.S. Air Force, with three of those years spent in San Pedro, California, Hunt decided to live out his days in Southern California where a sister and three of his brothers also lived. He soon found employment with Los Angeles County, a clerical position at Harbor General Hospital, where he advanced, over time, from clerk to Supervising clerk in the Hospital's Medical Records Department, running, after the retirement of the former head of the department, the entire department for a year. For a time, Hunt worked the Department's graveyard shift. This allowed him to spend his days as a college student, graduating in due time from California State University Dominguez Hills with a degree in English Literature. Soon after, he entered the University of Southern California (USC) School of Library Science. While at USC, and not yet graduated, Hunt was selected--one of two students--to be a Librarian Intern for the Los Angeles County Public Library System. During this time, his out-of-body explorations continued unabated, creating a wellspring of information for his book, information for a people languishing because of a lack of knowledge of God and themselves, longing to understand their relationship to Him, as well as to their fellow man and woman. At the end of his internship, Hunt joined the Los Angeles County Public Library System where he held, until his retirement, several positions, the most rewarding of them being that of Community Library Manager, at different times, of four libraries.
