The methodology applied was through bibliographic research on the subject, field verification, analysis of statistical data collected from the application of a form with the residents themselves, the latter chosen through sampling for convenience, thus identifying a deficit in relation to supply through the company responsible for distribution in the city, that does not reach all households in a regular and equal way, thus forcing residents to look for different alternatives to access water for use in the households, that sometimes these alternatives put the health of the community at risk by not developing adequate procedures and methods for water treatment diverse use, including consumption itself.
