Dr. Vanitha Vaidialingam, Ph.D., IRS, is a Doctorate in English, MBA in Operations Management; a voluntarily retired Civil Servant, and a practicing freelance management consultant. She was born into a middle-class Tamil speaking family and has lived a large part of her life in Chennai. She currently works as a management consultant. Vanitha loves writing and has been writing on and off for several years now. Much of her published writing has been on technology and management subjects to date. This is her first attempt at publishing fiction. She published a collection of short stories titled "The War Within" in September 2014 on Amazon and later on Smashwords in December 2014. The second collection of Short Stories titled "Coffee Bites: A tale with your cuppa" is in the making. A book on spiritual experiences titled "Close Encounters of a Mystic Kind" was published by Life Positive Private Limited, Mumbai in 2015 in print edition and was completely sold out within two years of launch. The second edition of the book with updates is published on Amazon.com.
