Their quality of life is considered an important component of effective treatment. It has been shown that psychosocial interventions aimed at developing personal skills in the cognitive, emotional, social and psychomotor domains are fundamental to quality of life, as schizophrenia is an uncertain disease in its evolution, varying from person to person.
