This book addresses how Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are used in an educational context by secondary school students at a private school in the city of São Luís, Maranhão. These technologies have brought about major changes in contemporary society, whether in the areas of health, fashion, agriculture, industry, or others. In the field of education, these changes have been happening more slowly, but it is also worth noting that the institutions that have brought this topic into the dialogue end up seeing these technologies not as simple electronic devices to minimize the most diverse daily tasks, but mainly as tools that provide new forms of methodological approaches in favor of teaching and learning. This work arose from academic research in the Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) under the guidance of the co-author of this work, Prof. Dr. João Batista Bottentuit Junior, to whom I dedicate my sincere thanks. Finally, the digital technologies presented here can bring a wealth of possibilities for teachers and students, provided they are used correctly.
