Autor

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Shamece Dove is a quiet woman of few words, but with a lot on her mind that she puts down on paper. Her mother always read to her as a child before bed, often dozing off while Shamece stayed up and continued reading. Then writing came along, and because she loved how authors created their own worlds and left you shocked, happy, or tearful, she wanted to be just like that when she grew up. Now the mother of three beautiful children herself, they are Shamece's joy and her motivation. Her other inspiration was her nana, seeing her strive for the best and stay strong, never complaining or showing any frustration with the many obstacles she faced in life. Along with praying daily, writing now is now her medicine. She must write to feel better, just as music is her go-to when she is feeling down. She thanks God for giving her the courage to write, and people in her life to push her to do what she loves doing. She doesn't plan to stop any time soon.
