But Dan, a private eye hired by Mama to keep tabs on her ex, ejects them from their cabin, forcing them to flee from Ardenville on their first road trip, carrying a gift for Map Girl. After visiting Map Girl, Miss Emma, a world famous artist, and her father, William the Dude Makepeace, talks the three odd, shy, unworldly men into staying at a remote monastery-at least for awhile. They settle in, but others with hidden agendas soon arrive to disturb their tranquility and that of the all male monastery. The unexpected ways of Fate have arrived, and the Three Magi's - Bud, Ben, Andy- shy, misunderstood guys-will have to step up and deal it in their own odd ways.
