teaching learning process can be viewed from not
only the teachers but also from the students points

importance to teachers as well. Although there are a
great deal of factors to influence the process of
teaching and/or learning, the present work will only
focus on three of them: motivation, student needs and
syllabus design.
Some of the findings based on the results of two
surveys made by students will also be illustrated by
diagrams. In the Conclusion section a lot of
conclusions are drawn in connection with motivation,
students needs and syllabus design. These factors
really do influence the teaching/learning process,
and the process, whether positive or negative, does
influence the students. The findings are very useful
for us, teachers to be aware of so that we can
improve the process of teaching and learning in the
future.
