Emigrating from Latvia, Silvija D. Lechowick was raised and educated in America. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, and a former psychiatric social worker, she now resides in Northeast Ohio with her numerous family members (7 of which are feral cats.) Silvija enjoys writing fables that present today's lifestyles and problems, along with some thoughts on these issues. It is hoped that along with mice, groundhogs, rabbits, squirrels, and many others who share out planet, some answers could be considered. Presented also are scientific themes, ones to introduce a child to the world of science.
