Even after adamantly denying he will ever become the next George Greer, Eddie seamlessly steps into the role following his father's questionable death. He alternates his misguided anger between his daughter, sickly grandson, and the townspeople. But it is his wife, Jules, a woman incapable of giving him the one thing he needs, a son to carry on the Greer name, who lands squarely in his crosshairs. Greer storms have been brewing for well over a century. No woman has dared defy her husband-until now.
