Neha Bawa is a writer, poet, and part-time kitchen witch who believes poetry is best served warm, like banana bread. In an alternate life, she is also a golden retriever. She lives in New Delhi and landed here after years of wandering through three countries, collecting recipes, memories, and a significant disdain for small talk. She is a witch at heart, a Buddhist by practice, a feminist by fire, and tree-hugger by instinct. Neha is equally likely to be found writing about grief or Googling "why do dogs make everything better." In fact, she is well recognized in her circles for venerating her dog, Brandy. Neha is an aspiring runner, though her inner voice still runs faster than her feet. On most days, she is deathly allergic to stupid people-metaphorically, spiritually, and on occasion, socially. This is her way of saying: lead with kindness and laugh when it hurts. The way to Neha's heart is through a few kind words and a whole bunch of new and interesting ingredients.
