Bishop Frederic Baraga was a courageous and caring man who served the Ojibwe and immigrants of Michigan and Wisconsin during the mid-1800s. The Snowshoe Priest follows Bishop Baraga's story as he journeys from his home country to the New World and treks around the wilderness of the midwest to share God's love.
