Trevor Verner is an artist and art therapy tutor who lives with his wife and family in Ballinamallard, Co Fermanagh.Trevor has been a professional artist for thirty-five years, his medium is pencil.He has had nineteen exhibitions - some solo and some with other artists.This is a memoir of Trevor's journey with mental illness and recovery and his efforts to bring his art out into the community to help other people.Trevor says, 'Working so much with my art and knowing the benefits it has for mental health, I decided fifteen years ago to take a program out into the community. I was lucky to get the opportunity to work with all different types of groups and using my program to change lives in mental health. I have now worked in many areas of mental health and I hope to continue to help people.'
