Cloud computing is emerging in recent years and is still in rapidly developing, which is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services). However, the integration of cloud computing with smart grid shall provide high scalability, elasticity and reliability for the smart grid. However, this integration and due to the sensitivity of information exchanged may suffer security threats that would threaten the whole country and not only the Electric Grid. This book address the security threats and privacy issues in smart grid application on cloud computing networks.
