As the world's security and intelligence services make little progress in solving the disappearances, Clint is sent to Madrid, Spain and put on alert. Theresa Deer, Clint's boss, not hindered by bureaucracies, turf battles, or international politics, is determined to identify who is behind the kidnappings and drone attacks. Clint travels to Austria, Italy and finally Greece. In all three countries, he is confronted by those who try to kill him. Once the lethal drones are perfected, the kidnapped scientists' usefulness comes to an end. While Clint's mission does not include rescue, he's given the green light to go after his target.
