In return, the Nazis received asylum in the USA and increased wealth. Those war criminals found kinship in the America First Coalition, whose ideology was ultranationalism, and used their wealth and influence to help certain political candidates get elected to Congress and the White House. With Fascism disguised under democracy, these far-right-wing members of the Elephant party brought back the Bellamy Salute and made America the Fourth Reich.
