Corbett has been quoted in national publications including The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He is the author of Portfolio Life: The New Path to Work, Purpose, and Passion After 50, published by John Wiley & Sons. Corbett earned a BA from Northwestern University, an MBA from New York University, and he's a veteran of the US Navy. He is an adviser to the MIT AgeLab, a trustee of the U.S.S.
