In the present work Juliana B.O. Morais problematizes the idea of home and analyses its representation in Loida Maritza Pérez's Geographies of Home. Whether in the form of a longing, a fear and /or a memory, home is presented in numerous ways by the characters Aurelia, Iliana, Rebecca and Marina, diasporic women whose geographies of home are objects of this analysis. Morais's work encompasses the discussion of home in relation to space, gender, race and the African Diaspora.
