The aim of our project is to carry out an analysis of a public educational institution located in the municipality of Presidente Epitácio, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, in order to contextualize and present the space and historicity of this institution, thereby seeking to build a profile of that school reality and understand how and with what difficulties the teaching and learning process is established at the Professor Antonio de Carvalho Leitão State School. The aim is to identify the different forms and manifestations of regulatory practices and discourses within the institution under investigation and, with this, to also perceive, in the midst of these regulatory practices and discourses, the possibilities of emancipatory practices and discourses. Based on this, we intend to propose a parameter for analyzing local schools as opposed to discourses and practices that are presented in a generalized way.
