Before retiring to travel the world and write fiction, Oslo Meko was a consultant geriatric psychiatrist with the Vancouver Coastal and Fraser Health Authorities, and a clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of British Columbia. He obtained his first medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, followed by his graduate training and specialization at the University of Ottawa. Oslo's passion for travel, reading, chats with strangers, foreign affairs, and football-the worldwide version-informs his writing. Oslo Meko lives in Vancouver with his spouse. His first novel, The Kissing Psychiatrist, was published in 2020.
