As a strategy to achieve these student centred principles, the book will document the creation of two initiatives; firstly, the establishment of a virtual support service to combat academic isolation and secondly, the creation of a free learning development resource for all students in higher education. Adopting a living action research approach, this book describes how professional self-reflection and collaborative relationships with students can be used to improve student centeredness.
