The primary focus is on those aspects of the human geography of Britain which have changed most in recent years, and/or constitute key issues for policy-makers in government and the private sector. The subjects covered include population change, age structure, household composition, ethnic group, employment and unemployment, housing, health, education, and welfare as well as making projections about the future map of Britain.
