""LA Dickens was born and raised in western Washington state. She spent much of her formative years exploring the Olympic Rainforest with her family. She loves observing her surroundings be they beautiful wildlife or struggling humanity. She is a veteran who served active duty Army and that experience has impacted her adult life. LA Dickens is currently working on several novels set on the fictional planet of Calla, but she also enjoys writing reflective articles on real life or short fictional stories. She also, clearly, writes poetry. Honestly, I find poetry often writes itself; it spills out of my head as fast as I can record or speak it.""
