The selected piano works include April Morning (Fantasie Tone-Poem) (1941), Theme and Variations (based on a Filipino folk tune Walay Angay ) (1950) and Elegy on Mt. Pinatubo (1991), which were chosen to extend knowledge of Kasilag s piano works and its compositional style, and to promote interest in their performance to the academic and performance community.
