Just like each disobedient generation, not wanting to do what Jehovah God told them to do, their hearts were hardened and they had to suffer the consequences. Pearline's parents instilled in all of their children the basic scripture, Hebrews 12:14, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." Pearline received her Associate of Arts Degree from Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, MS; Bachelor of Science in Education from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS; and Master of Arts in Urban Teacher Education from Governor's State University in Park Forest, IL. She was an elementary school teacher with Chicago Public Schools for thirty-four years. Pearline is the mother of six children, sixteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
