Albert Calbet is a marine biologist at the Institute of Marine Sciences (CSIC) in Barcelona, Spain, where his research focuses on the ecology and ecophysiology of zooplankton. Albert has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles and authored multiple outreach books, dedicated to making marine science accessible to the broader public.
