Her skills at keeping the real world at bay, keeping me organized, and keeping me moving forward were invaluable. The number of times she was able to buy me a few minutes was vital in my being able to finish this work. She often jokes that she is CDO, because she must have OCD in alphabetical order. Well, if that is her curse, for me, it was a blessing. I cannot thank her enough! You may find, as you read this book, that two characters stand out as being critical to the main character's sanity. Just as Leah and Chris keep General Patrick "out of the weeds", my spirit guides, Elise and Jennifer, have done the same for me.
