Tom has planted trees in Somerset, surveyed a Vietnamese jungle and rescued buffaloes from drought-ridden Zimbabwe. Writing jobs have taken him to the Galápagos Islands, the Amazon rainforest, the coral reefs of Indonesia, and the Sahara Desert.
