When Nila recognizes their need, she does chores for her "good ole' gram" to earn money and then makes a visit to the McCoy and Sons Thrift and General Hardware Store. There Nila buys the Hymmas a present that not only makes the brothers happy but fills Nila with joy. Full of fanciful fun, this story teaches the magic of generosity and kindness and the joy found in helping others!
