Louise and her husband, Jim, live in Hominy, Oklahoma, which is in the original town site on the Osage Indian reservation. She has written and self-published fourteen small poetry books and nine picture books. She gives them to friends and family. She makes chicken scratch quilts and beaded jewelry.
