Meet Ayaan Alwan, a young Somali-American Muslim woman living in Volmar City, New Jersey. At first glance, Ayaan leads a mundane life. Ayaan's girlfriend, feisty Haitian diva Marjorie Jean-Baptiste can be a handful at times. Personal matters must take a backseat to more urgent issues as game-changing events occur. A crime wave hits Volmar City and Federal Law Enforcement steps in.
