Chrysteen Braun, a native of Long Beach, California, weaves together elements of women's fiction and cozy noir mystery in her writing. Her acclaimed The Guest Book Series is inspired by the picturesque Lake Arrowhead mountains, where she and her husband, Larry, once owned a second home. In addition to fiction, Chrysteen contributes articles on interior design and home remodeling to trade publications and her local newspaper. She lives in Coto de Caza with Larry and their two Siamese cats.
