I don't know where to turn for safety. Nowhere is safe. Nowhere is private. And I can't keep pretending that everything is fine. Because it isn't. And I am not okay. I don't truly feel seen in my uneasiness, until Professor Marcus Williams comes to campus. I have zero desire to throw myself at the handsome professor, but he's there as my "knight in shining armor" when I least expect it. I'm no damsel in distress. But he's going to be the one to save me, even from the unnamed monster stepping out of the shadows.
