One realizes, then, that the challenges that these professionals face allow us to reflect on a practice of law that offers serious risks to the mental health of the worker. In Brazil, studies on psychological suffering (depression, anxiety, and stress) in this group of workers are still scarce. This book, in light of the concept of mental health and taking into consideration the theme of psychological suffering, seeks to evaluate the psychological factors of protection used by lawyers for the maintenance of psychological health.
