High King Nathan Eastmoore, king of High Yrfel and of the Steel Isle is the youngest among the three island lords is only eighteen years of age and is doubted by his opponents. He has no true experience in battle and has never actually killed anyone, but has spent his eighteen years of living training to do so. Lord Kolvar Keawynn, lord of the Elder Branch and the Ancestral Grove, is the oldest of the three lords, at twenty-five years of age, but Kolvar is undoubtedly the smartest of the three lords.
