Wholesaler distributors appear as a legal entity, which organizes transport of pharmaceutical goods as a wholesale, based on a good pharmaceutical practice, economic principles, and a number of legal acts, in the national and international pharmaceutical market. Implementation of the model of the rational logistic distribution of pharmaceutical goods has a potential to increase effective and successful distribution of pharmaceuticals in the wholesale industry. Since the distribution of pharmaceutical goods is a core business of wholesalers and the distribution in pharmaceutical wholesale makes 5-6% of total cost, application of logistic principles in business can increase the competitiveness of the wholesalers. Furthermore, an adjusted model of the rational logistic distribution of pharmaceuticals can be used for cost rationalization in all corporations with distribution as a core business.
