A Preliminary Study

In this study, the author presents a preliminary analysis of two bilingual dictionaries of Brazilian indigenous languages: Ka'apor and Yuhupdeh, based on the semantic field of cosmology, that is, focusing on lexemes that express indigenous knowledge about the sky, natural phenomena, and associated sociological elements, which represents modest contributions in the fields of lexicography, cosmology, and ethnography.

Autor

With a degree in literature from Unesp, he works as an advertising executive and is pursuing a master's degree in indigenous languages, which allows him to combine his two main professional interests: linguistics and creativity.
