The story illustrates the efforts of of the Heavenly King to reconcile with humanity. As a representation of the Heavenly King, Boaz pursued Ruth after she chooses to serve the God of Israel, the one true God. Ruth chased after the Kingdom of God and in return the King of Heaven chased after her. When we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, the Heavenly King promises that all things will be added unto us. Ruth received a dividend of Restoration and Redemption. As it was for Ruth, so it is for all humanity, that seek the Kingdom of God first.
