Delinquent behaviors such as truancy, bullying, and substance use remain key concerns in schools. This study examined how personality traits, based on the Big Five Model, relate to delinquent behavior among Grade 12 students at Initao National Comprehensive High School, Misamis Oriental, in the 2024-2025 school year. Using a descriptive-correlational design, data were collected from 100 students via a structured questionnaire assessing personality traits and delinquent behaviors. Results showed average levels across all five traits, with Conscientiousness and Agreeableness being most dominant. Delinquent behaviors were also at an average level, with bullying or aggression most frequent. Pearson's correlation revealed a very weak negative relationship (r = -0.030, p = 0.766) between personality traits and delinquency, indicating no significant link. The study concludes that personality traits alone do not predict delinquent behavior and recommends a multifaceted approach considering psychological, environmental, and social factors to effectively address and prevent such behaviors.
