In addition, interviews were conducted with a sampling of the study participants.The Hispanic/Latino advocacy program appeared to have a positive impact on the study participants based on their perceptions as noted in their responses on the questionnaire and during their interviews.The content analysis of the student interviews revealed several interesting findings as well. Both program participants and non-participants noted that the program was fun and enjoyable, or that it appeared fun and enjoyable. In addition, both program participants and non-participants mentioned the positive social aspects of the advocacy program.
