In both novels, Colonization was utilized by the Europeans to bring civilization to the dark sides of the world. While the truth was the complete opposite of that, Colonialism was the perfect cover to gain more wealth on the expense of the Africans, whether this wealth was achieved by brutal force and treating the Africans just like animals as in the novel "Heart of Darkness"or by changing their way of thinking and the mental state as in the novel "Heart of Redness" in order to keep them spinning around themselves without moving forward to improve their future.
