After facing rejection, young writer, Jen Weston, hopes her new book club will provide a necessary distraction. Those hopes are quickly dashed, however, when a close colleague falling to her death snowballs into a mishandled investigation, loss of evidence, and murky motives. Though initially dismissed as unreliable witnesses, it's now up to a socially anxious writer, a nursing student, a reformed mean girl, a sleepy security guard, and the rebellious son of a police captain to don the deerstalkers and solve the mystery themselves.
