Moreover, he now faces the possible loss of his law license over the contempt of court incident. During the ensuing weeks, Lou comes to the conclusion that his client is being framed. Unfortunately, this conclusion is based mostly on theory rather than proof. When the DA offers a plea to a lesser charge, the accused detective turns it down, leaving Lou no choice but to try and convince a jury to acquit his client despite the overwhelming evidence against him.
