The monograph presents analyze the economic and political-geographical features and the significance of the" Belt and Road "initiative for the Republic of Armenia, to identify the prerequisites that contribute to the launch of the" North-South " road corridor. We study the historical roads of international significance passing through the Armenian Highlands, to study Armenia as a transit country in the "zone and road" initiative, to identify the prerequisites for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Armenia, considering it as the most important crossroads of regional cooperation. The analyses were accompanied by schematic diagrams, charts, as well as maps compiled by the author.

 Sima Ts. Dayan is a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor. She works at the ASPU after Kh. Abovyan, in the the chair of geography·Tamara M. Khachatryan is a student. She is a geographer BA degree· Now she is studying in the department of Landscape planning in MA degree. She is author of the scientific works.
