Their contribution as homemaker is overlooked it they do not contribute directly with the money. For this, huge amount of population are staying outside of direct production process and their contribution is not valued in the GDP. It accounts the wastage of human resource. The recognition of homemaker's contribution should be important and consider them as active participants of national economy to ensure women's empowerment. Revaluing household work time can make homemakers contribution visible in national economy as well as GDP.
