Although his original intent was just to give his wife the experience of getting close to and meeting some Amish people, Bob gets caught up in wanting to learn more about the lifestyle of these gentle folk, himself. An unplanned stop in a town they hadn't previously visited develops a relationship with an unorthodox young couple who create an even stronger desire in Bob and his bride to look more seriously toward moving to the area.
