Having left the public work force in 2007, Susan Howell now finds time to pursue writing. She has authored a children's teaching series, as well as numerous poems, puppet plays, and stories. Susan was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois. At the age of 18, she moved to Tennessee, where she resides with her husband Larry and their amazing boxer dog, Elizabeth Grace, "Gracie".
