The aim of this book is to present the developments in the European Union of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), in the economic context and to make a contribution for foreign capital to developing countries, and particularly countries neighbors in Central and South Eastern Europe. The FDI is an important element of economic development of any country and its functioning market economy principles. They have great importance for strengthening the economy of countries in transition and integration of this category of countries in the global economy.
