Transfer factors are not species-specific, thus transfer factors produced by a cow's immune system are just as effective in humans as they are in the cow. Immune agents may be our new defenses against M. tuberculosis that no longer responded to multi drug resistant M. tuberculosis (MDR-TB). The results of this research indicated that administration of murine transfer factor (mTF)) as immunotherapy for challenged mice of MTB (H37Rv) showed a better results compared with the efficacy of BCG vaccine single and booster doses.
